Using smaller needles cast on 27 (29, 31) sts. 1st row: K1, *(p1, k1); rep from * to end.
2nd row: *(P1, k1); rep from * to last st, p1. Rep 1st and 2nd rows three times.
Change to larger needles and proceed in st-st (throughout) inc once at each end of 3rd and every foll 6th (6th, 8th) row to 35 (41, 37) sts.
For 18” and 20” sizes only: Inc once at each end of every foll 4th (6th) row to 39 (43) sts.

Loosely cast on 50 (60, 70) sts. Work in Moss St for 12 rows. Continue in st st, working 10 sts in Moss St at end of RS rows, for Front Border throughout. When work measures 13 (13.5, 14)”, ending with WS facing- K 1 row. Continue in Cable Pattern maintaining last 10 sts in Moss St:

FRONT (make 2 alike): With larger needles, and MC, loosely cast on 32 (36, 40, 46) sts. Mark the first row as a RS row. Working stripe pattern as given above, work in garter st until total length is 9”, ending with a WS row. Next row: Work across 6 (8, 10, 13) sts, bind off next 20 sts. Work across the 20 sts from one of the pocket linings, finish the 6 (8, 10, 13) sts of the row. Continue on the 32 (36, 40, 46) sts until total length is 26 (27, 28)”, ending with a WS row. Bind off loosely.

1 ball needed for contrasting trim if desired
Gauge: 22 sts = 4” using size 6 needles over stockinette stitch.

Work all picot edges with contrasting color, if desired.

WRAP:
With smaller needles and main color (Gray), loosely cast on 103 sts. Work in seed st for 12 rows (about 2”), ending with a WS row. Change to larger needles and begin swiss dot pattern across center 83 sts- thus keeping 10 sts at beginning and end of each row in seed st as established (place markers 10 sts in from each end). Continue as established until total length is 58” long, ending with a WS row. Change to smaller needles, and work in seed st for 12 rows, ending with a WS row. Bind off loosely in seed st.

CARDIGAN BACK: With smaller needles, loosely cast on 75 (83, 91) sts. Work in garter st for 10 rows. Change to larger needles and work in st st. While decreasing 1 st each side edge every 8th row 5 times total: 65 (73, 81) sts. When total length is 10 (11, 12)”, ending with a WS row. Bind off.

Needles: Size US 10.

Knitting Instructions: Spread open the mesh. Turn sideways so that the glitter effect is at the bottom. Cast on 8 sts across the top edge using a size US 10 needle. Knit through the top edge openings - one opening per stitch. Knit every row.

Materials: 1 hank.
Approx. Finished Size: 3” x 48”
Needles: Size US 10.


Knitting Instructions: Spread open the mesh. Turn sideways so that the rainbow effect is at the bottom. Cast on 6 sts across the top edge using a size US 10 needle. Knit through the top edge openings - one opening for the first stitch of every row, then skip a track hole each time for the other stitches of the row. Knit every row.

Materials: 4 balls Eros II shown in color 3003
Size: 20 x 60”
Needles: Size US 15 needles.
Gauge: 7 sts = 4” over pattern st using double strand of yarn.

Shawl:
Cut 124 pieces of Eros II into 15” sections. Set aside. Hint: Cut half of fringe from each of 2 balls.
Using a double strand of Eros II loosely cast on 33 sts, leaving 9” tails.
Row 1: P1, *(yo, p2tog); repeat from * to end.

Encore Worsted - F416

Size: Hat: 23” x 8”. Scarf: 8 x 50”
Materials: 1 ball Encore Worsted color 848 (navy-A), and 1 ball color 208(white-B) EACH for Hat and Scarf. Note: Hat takes 1 ball each color, scarf takes 1 ball each color.
Gauge: 12 sts = 4” in garter stitch on a US 11 needle, or size needed to achieve gauge.
Needles: 24” circular size US 11 for the scarf, 16” circular size US 10½, and size US 10 or US 10½ double pointed needles for the hat.
