Materials: Baby Alpaca Grande 3 (3, 4, 4) – 100g hanks.

Neck
Using the smaller needle, loosely cast on 61 (71, 81, 91) sts. Work in 1x1 ribbing for 11 rows, ending with a RS row, and increasing 4 sts evenly across last row: 65 (75, 85, 95) sts. Change to larger needle.

Begin Raglan Shaping
Row 4:  (Increase row with twist) (RS): Rib 3, *knit to marker, YO, slip marker, Twist 2- by knitting the 2 sts together, then knit the first st once more before removing both from needle (still 2 sts), slip marker, YO, rep from * three times, knit to last 3 sts, rib 3.
Row 5: As row 3.

Rep rows 2 through 5—until there are 161, (179, 197, 215) sts.  End after working row 3 or 5.

 
Divide for Sleeves
Rib 3, knit to marker, remove marker, k2, remove marker, place next 33 (37, 41, 45) sts on holder for sleeve; remove markers as you come to them; cast on to the right needle 7 (8, 9, 10) sts for armhole; join to back sts, knit across back sts to the next marker, remove marker, k2, remove marker, place next 33 (37, 41, 45) sts on holder for sleeve; remove markers as you come to them; cast on to the right tip of the needle 7 (8, 9, 10) sts for armhole; join to right front sts, knit to last 3 sts, end rib 3. ― 109, (121, 133, 145 sts.

Body
Continuing to keep first and last 3 sts in ribbing as established for front bands, work rest of sts in st st for 5” from armhole, ending with a WS row. Work lower band as follows:
Lower Band
Continuing with the larger needle, work in ribbing for 1”, ending with a WS row.  Bind off loosely in ribbing.
