Split Plait Cables (SPC)
Row 1:  (wrong side) K2, (p5, k2) 2 times.
Row 2: P2, (k2, slip 1 wyib, k2, p2) 2 times.
Row 3: K2, (p2, slip 1 wyif, p2, k2) 2 times.
 

Cast on 67 sts
Row 1: 16 sts of Row 1 SPC,  K 35,16 sts of Row 1 SPC
Row 2: 16 sts of Row 2 SPC, K35, 16 sts of Row 2 SPC
Work the Rows given in the SPC pattern.
Row 3: 16 SPC, knit to last 16 sts, SPC
Row 4:  16 SPC, K35, 16 SPC.

Repeat Rows 3 and 4 for 1”, ending with a WS row (a row 3).

HOOD
Continue to bring 2 more sts at each side into reverse st st and st st stripes in this way on next and every 3rd row until the row: “ work 38 (40, 42, 44) sts, rib 2, work to end”,  has been worked 3 times in all.  BO.

Pima Colada: 2 – 50g balls, shown in color 33 Peach
Gauge:  18 sts and 32 rows to 4” Pattern with size US 8 needles.
Needles:  24” circular size US 8 needles.
