Gauge: 4.5 sts =1”over st st

Needles:  Hat:  16” circulars size 7 & 8.  double pointed needles size US 8; 1 stitch marker.

Needles: US Size 8 (5mm) and US Size 7 (4.5mm) - 32” circular knitting needle (or size needed to obtain gauge), stitch markers, stitch holders, yarn needle, pins.
