Gauge in Mock Houndstooth Pattern: 19 sts = 4” on US size 8 needle
Needles/Notions: US Size 8 straight or 40” circular or 2 – 24” circular (you must pick up many, many sts on each side to finish and will need either a long circular or 2 shorter ones.)

Angora Luks Color: 1—150g cake, color 1921 FOR SCARF
2—150g cake, color 1917 FOR STOLE
Gauge: 24 sts, 36 rows= 4” in st st on US Size 5 (3.75mm) after blocking.
Needles/Notions: US Size 5 (3.75mm) straight or circular knitting needle.

Left Front and Right Front:
Shape Neck: Next Row (RS): Begin decreasing at the neck edge - inside the 3 band sts as follows: RS row: Work to last 5 sts, k2tog, p1, k1, p1.  Repeat this decrease row every other row until 14 (15, 15) sts remain.  Continue even until total length is same as back, ending with a WS row.  Bind off loosely all sts but the 3 buttonband sts- leave them on a holder for now.

RIGHT FRONT:

At the same time work the armhole shaping every other row 0, (0, 0, 0, 1) times more - keep the 4 sts at armhole edge in garter stitch. When all shaping is complete, 12, (14, 15, 18, 20) sts will remain. Work even until armhole measures 6”, (6 ½, 7, 7 ½, 8). Bind off all sts.
