Buckingham Scarf

Approx. Finished Measurements: 9 x 60”.
Materials: 2- 50g hanks of Bristol Yarn Gallery Buckingham in color 9210.
Needles: One pair size US 7. Size US 9 needle for cast on & bind off only.
Gauge: ~22 sts = 4” using size US 7 needles over pattern, before blocking, or size necessary to obtain gauge.

Lace Scarf
With larger needle, very loosely cast on 47 sts. Change to smaller needle.
Knit 4 rows.
Begin lace pattern, keeping the first 3 and last 3 sts as knit sts on every row.
Row 1(RS): K3, k2tog, *(k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, slip 2 sts together as if to k2tog, k1, pass the 2 slipped sts over the knitted st); repeat from * to last 12 sts, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, ssk, k3.
Row 2: K3, purl to last 3 sts, k3.
Repeat rows 1 & 2 for pattern until piece measures 60" or until almost out of yarn, ending with a Row 2.
Purl 4 rows. Bind off purlwise with larger needle. Weave in ends. Block out.
