Materials: 1 –50g hank Alpaca Lace
Gauge: 7 sts =1” over st st.
Needles: Size US 4.
Cast on 71 sts
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: *(Slip 1, k9); repeat from * across, end sl 1.
Row 4: *(Slip 1, p9); repeat from * across; end sl 1.
Rows 5 & 6: Repeat rows 3 & 4.
Row 7: Knit.
Row 8: Purl.
Rows 9-18, repeat rows 7 & 8—5 more times. Then begin lace pattern below.
Lace Pattern:
Row 1: K10, k2tog, yo, * (k6, k2tog, yo); repeat from * across, end with k3.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: K1, k2tog, yo,*(k1, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo); repeat from *, end k1, yo, ssk, k1.
Row 4: Purl.
Row 5: K5, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo,*(k3, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo); repeat from *, end with k5.
Row 6: Purl.
Row 7: Knit.
Row 8: Purl.
Row 9: Knit.
Row 10: Purl.
Row 11: Knit.
Row 12: Purl.
Row 13: Knit.
Row 14: Purl.
Repeat these 14 rows for pattern. Repeat until almost out of yarn, holding back enough for 10 rows & bind off.
