Needles: 24" circular size 13, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: Approx. 2½ sts =1" over pattern, using a double strand of yarn.
Use yarn doubled throughout- 1 strand of each color held together
Basketweave Throw pattern stitch
With one strand of each held together, loosely cast on 95 sts.
Row 1: K5, *(p5, k5); repeat from * to end of row.
Row 2: P5, *(k5, p5); repeat from * to end of row.
Row 3: As row 1.
Row 4: As row 2.
Row 5: As row 1.
Row 6: Purl.
Row 7: P5, *(k5, p5); repeat from * to end of row.
Row 8: K5, *(p5, k5); repeat from * to end of row.
Row 9: As row 7.
Row 10: As row 8.
Row 11: As row 7.
Row 12: Purl.
Repeat rows 1-12, until total length measures approximately 44", ending with either row 5 or 11. Bind off in rib as established, not purlwise.
Weave in all ends.
